Road Atlanta | Chateau Elan

Hall County is the home of Road Atlanta and the Petit LeMans, an IMSA sanctioned race event.
Business mogul Don Panoz took some of his fortune from Elan Pharmaceutical and built Chateau Elan Winery and Resort. The resort features one of the best rated golf courses in the State. The ultra high end gated community of Chateau Elan complements the project. It is all located where Hall, Gwinnett, and Barrow Counties come together at the small community of Braselton, GA.
But the Panoz contributions to Hall County did not stop there. Road Atlanta, which was home to the Can-Am racing series in the 1970's was in need of a revival and the Panoz family did exactly that. Road Atlanta was refurbished and is now home of the Petit LeMans and host an AMA Super Bike event. The top three finishers in the Petit LeMans series are guaranteed a start in the European 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Road Atlanta is also home to Panoz Motor Sports , Panoz Auto Development , Panoz Racing School , Audi Driving Experience , and Kevin Schwantz Suzuki School .
Panoz also has G Force Racing and is pursuing an Indy 500 win. After all of these accomplishments, I wouldn't count them out.
